The receipt of nice things from close friends is always a tender moment. You receive the goods, you stare at them and remember all the good times you guys had together that have brought you closer to each other.
A nice bouquet of roses. This is the first bouquet of roses I have received from female friends and the note that came with it is so endearing. Only a fool would throw it down the drain.
So doesn't it come to mind that I'm not that hard to please after all? The one guy who took the time to know the real me didn't have to do much to please me and he was completely at ease during the entire time we were together. Those who gave up halfway didn't have the guts to carry it through. Too bad. They don't know what they are missing.
But yes the madness of life can be soothed with something nice from a loved one. Like a cruise sponsored by my parents and this bouquet of roses. And these are all gifts from the heart, something I appreciate and will definitely know how to return the favour in the days to come.
Take heart my dear friends. I will always be here for you come rain or shine. :)
