LaLa-ing

Even the theme for our National Day this year is Majulah which means Onward for those weird freaks who have not opened their ears from the day we were taught to sing the National Anthem. It's a good theme, if not a fantastic one since Singapore has continuously evolved since we became independent some 46 years ago come 9th August 2011.

I sound super pro Singapore right? Hahaha....I guess no matter how much I complain about life being so boring on our sunny little island, it's unavoidable that we all still feel so much more comfortable being somewhere we can communicate properly and know we are safe. I'm suddenly going all patriotic...Maybe it's coz NDP is dawning upon us as I type this.

I have been sleeping like a baby recently and I suspect it's due to all the exercise I have been doing. Last week was a chockful of activity for my body! Zumba on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and then my Marina 21k (10km) run on Saturday. My legs gave way at the 8km mark. Madness. But I really wanna go for another such event. Hopefully this time kung fu panda will be around to tailgate me with his bicycle. Hahahaha....

*Sigh* I really wanna do something more with my life but I dunno what else is there. There seems to be this sudden surge of energy I'm feeling and I dunno where to focus all these excess energy to. I mean, I'm not yet sexually active with my current muse so I dunno if THAT will rid me of all this overdrive I'm feeling. It's getting to a point where I'm not able to sleep till almost 2am every day but once my head hits the pillow I'm out like a light. I have the Baby Bear syndrome (Baby Bear from Sesame Street) coz as soon as I lay on something comfy, I'm out. But when I'm up and about, I'm super energetic. Think my family isn't used to this me coz I'm usually always the one complaining about how tired I am. And me yawning does not mean I'm tired. I'm just letting out carbon dioxide from my body. Lol!

Tattoos are such sensitive issues. Now I understand why it is usually not advisable to ink an ex girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife's name on one's body. The after effects on the protagonist's next better half can be quite disastrous depending on the sensitivity meter of the better half. Ah well... I'm not into inking people's names on my body. Perhaps only my own name? If the tattooist can create it in such a way that it will look awesome as a spine base tattoo I'll definitely get it.
