My obsessions

I think the masseuse over massaged me today. Feeling this nagging ache just close around the edges of my shoulder blades. Arg.

Recently, I have developed this little bit of an obsession with my weight. It may have stemmed from me bordering on becoming overweight just about a month (or slightly more), ago. I'M SERIOUS AS HELL! Every day I look in the mirror and realized how big my tummy was from the side profile. And my clothes were hugging that damn area even more then usual! It was horrendous! Still is actually but I'll get to that a bit later.

So over the last few days, I decided to revisit Xiaxue's blog and the first post I saw was of her telling her readers how she lost all that weight. I am envious of her svelte figure. She's tiny but her clothes fit her to a tee and she looks awesome in photos. I nearly drooled when I saw the photo of her and her husband and her caption that said it was 100% NOT photoshopped. Wa lau I also want to look like that in photos in figure hugging outfits! I don't want all these excess fats slobbering over the sides of my skirt or pants or belt and have them seen in all my photos!

And so I have taken to running and doing various cardio activities to try to slim down and the process, as slow as it is, is working. My tummy is definitely smaller now and my bowels work perfectly. Of course this is also in tandem with me taking smaller meals and controlling my hunger. I've build up a bit of muscle coz of my exercises but definitely have shed at least 1-2kg.

But you know how girls are. What's 1-2kg of weight loss? That's like peanuts in the slimming arena! So now I'm trying to figure out another way to lose more weight without having to kill my knee caps and be a human weather predictor in my later years. I know diet pills are not the way to go but is there a safe pill or solution to lose the extra flab? I even considered paying the thousands to do vaser liposelection but coz of my uber sensitive skin, I dare not do anything that will require even the tiniest of incisions for fear of scarring. Spoke to the bf and he objected to it. OBVIOUSLY!

So what's a girl to do in such circumstances? Simple.

Eat half the portion of every meal she has.

Yes I may feel quite peckish after awhile but I have come to realize that this is the best way to ensure that my stomach starts getting smaller and starts feeling full faster which also means I have less temptation to snack and in turn allow my body to burn the fats that I already have and TADAH! Lose weight!

This is not to say that I will put my health on the line just to lose weight. But this will take place slowly.

This is just one of my obsessions. Another one for another post!
