Of Japan,Japanese men and a Japanese pub and KTV...

Such a waste I didn't attempt to take any photos of that Friday night not too long ago.

Well I didn't know them very well then too anyway so I guess I'm excused.

Friday,I met up with Unesaki san and Goto san at Que Pasa to discuss about the photo gallery they were to hold in about 1.5 to 2 weeks time. The circle of them, consisting of 5-6 members,do photography in their spare time and call themselves "Choikita".

I guess the fun part of it all was about 45 minutes into our meeting at the plush private room on the 2nd level of QP. As soon as I started having my 2nd glass of red wine, all of us were a little high and the night felt like it had just started.

Unesaki san was the first to mention that they were going to a Japanese pub at Cuppage managed by a mother and daughter from Nagoya. They call the mother Mama and the daughter's name is Sawa.I think if I were to put my mum next to Mamasan, they will look like fellow country women.Haha...

Anyway, digression aside,Unesaki san is the older of the 2.He's 48 and Goto san is only 28.I guessed their ages right on the first try!And Goto san said,"You are good at guessing Japanese age!" Haha...he is really funny.I think they wanted to say I was crazy but being nice, they chose the word bubbly instead.

About 2 hours later at QP,it seem evident that Goto san really wanted me to join them at the Japanese pub. I giggled and kept telling Unesaki san, "Goto san is yopparai already..." That means drunk by the way.I continued saying that through other stuff he said.Yea to a certain extent you could say I was acting both the gaijin and Nihonjin in one damn night.

And then Goto san asked me this question which stumped me for a moment. "Are you warui?"

Huh?Warui? Why would a guy ask a lady if she was warui?Just didn't make sense. So I opted for the PR answer and said, "Sometimes...when the situation calls for it." I think he must have understood that coz I thought I saw a glint in his chiisai eyes for a split second.

We had 2 bottles of wine at QP,had loads of shochu and sweet ume shochu at the Japanese pub.I had oden and Unesaki san had the fermented saba zushi we wanted to try so much when we were in Osaka. It tasted...well....fermented?The oden was good though.I'm sure Joy will thoroughly enjoy it.Felt like I'd stepped into mini Japan and boy did it feel good!

Then we went on to a Japanese KTV just on the 4th level and I had 2 more glasses of beer.It was so fun and by then,ahem...alittle flirting was going on between me and Goto san.But his version of flirting is abit the...hmm...tame?I think holding hands is already quite a big thing while here in Singapore,it doesn't really matter if a guy and girl start frenching when they are high.Their friends won't even bat an eyelid.

Ok la they might bat once or twice but it ain't such a big deal isn't it?

He kept poking my fats la.It got to a point where I actually blurted out,"Alamak stop poking my fats la...." Don't think he heard me though.

Only went home at 2+am.But I was totally hung over on Saturday I couldn't concentrate on what was going on in front of me.

God I love Japan.I adore the people and I might consider having a Japanese bf for awhile if destiny and fate permits.

I'll wanna go there to work for abit.Live the life of a Japanese for awhile.

But I guess I'll leave the staying in Japan forever part to Joy.I still want my free accommodation and free food la~!Lol!:p

Signing off,
Tolora
