It has officially started. My first offshore 'baptism' with him. And not just that. The 'internet connection on the vessel cannot make it so communication is limited and unpredictable' has also started.
And I can't believe I was hanging up on him like 5 times yesterday coz I saw the number listed as a call from San Francisco. No he's not in the States. Apparently the vessel he is on has USA connectivity thus the number. But I did get to speak to him this morning when I woke up and am feeling alittle lethargic now coz only slept at 3.45am and woke up at 9.30am coz 1) it was soooo warm and I was sweating and 2) I had the feeling he replied my google chat and was super eager to catch him before he went offline again due to the drippy internet.
I have NEVER been so eager to get a bf's call like that before. But if you think about it, it's not an all bad situation. Coz it makes us just so eager to hear each other again and even mere live chatting on google mail chat can make us both happy for the day, even if the conversation only took place for a good 5minutes or probably 10. And each phone call is so precious coz I'll never know when he will be able to call me again and he doesn't know when he will be able to get a proper connection again. So it's kinda like a waiting game but it does, undoubtedly, build some form of tension which I feel is quite healthy for a proper relationship.
Of coz I have someone who asked me if I felt ok about him leaving me so early in our relationship. Well let's just say it's his job. Although we are going to be apart for a good 6 weeks or alittle more, it's still work and he still needs to go for it. It's definitely not that I'm TOTALLY happy about it la but we are not 15 year olds who need to be physically together to know how seriously we view this relationship. If we wanna make this relationship work, which I believe is what we both wanna do, then we will make it work no matter what we have to go through. And by saying this, it doesn't mean that I'm up for "we have been through so much together. So many ups and downs. Broke up a few times but always patched up.". I personally think that a real relationship does not have so many tumultuous moments. A real relationship is of 2 people who truly want to and do understand each other and want to make each other happy during the entire duration of their relationship, whether or not they take it to the altar in the end. If one party allows the other party to feel upset at any point of time during their relationship because of his/her own conscious actions, then sorry man. This relationship is nothing worth talking about. The couple did not go through alot together. They just thrived on hurting each other and THAT does not make for a loving relationship at all.
I mean if they had kids and still behaved this way, what will their kids learn about human relationships? That they have to beat and batter their other half to have a proper relationship? *Pengz*
Ok I know I'm rambling on and on about relationships. Probably coz I'm hovering between consciousness and semi consciousness.
Anyhoo, I'm leaving for my cruise soon! All packed and ready for my family summer vacation!! 6 days of uninterrupted food indulgence and just pure relaxation! Woo hoo! :)
I'm going to do wake boarding this coming Saturday with Sarah and gang. Can't wait too! Totally in love with wake boarding man! I tried it the first time when I was in Bali with Noel and boy was it awesome lor! Tried surfing too but Singapore does not have surfing and even if we did, it will definitely be crazy expensive. As with all things Singaporean. *Sigh*
Alright I'm gonna do some internet surfing now before I pack this baby up and dump it in my bro's bag. My mum packed in the netbook I donated to her in her lugguage and I was like thinking to myself,"Why is she bringing the netbook on the cruise? There's no free wi-fi anyway." Then I remembered how crazy she has been ever since she got back from her Royal Carribbean cruise coz she claimed that almost everybody had an iPad onboard and were using them to surf the net and stuff.
Mm. Right.
And yes Tan and Yip we will have to do our French dinner soon. Probably may not happen liao. LOL! But Raving Rabbids and Rock Band at Yip's place again soon! And I chope the mic liao ah! *throws toilet paper rolls in Tan's and Yip's and BOB's face*
Ok....BYE!
