Hmmm...

Yoo hoooooo~~~!!! Am back from my annual company trip and this year, guess where we went? BANGKOK! AGAIN! Hahaha...I'm not complaining coz I had a really good time. I wasn't as crazy as compared to past trips but the guys were just.as.crazy. It is very awesome to get together with colleagues and just have fun without thinking about work for awhile. Everyone lets loose and we let our hair down. Madness.

However, because this is my first trip out with the company since we split, the feeling is rather different. It feels normal when we are doing our own thing during the day but when the time of our D&D came around, all the outlets had on their own outlet tees(including dbl O), and you could literally SEE the comaderie between the staff within their individual outlets but not with another outlet. dbl O of coz was the loudest and most siao bunch maybe coz we have the most staff and also coz most of our staff have been with us for quite awhile so the strong bond is there for all to see. There were many unfamilar faces within the other outlets so that probably caused a bit of a rift.

When we got to RCA Slim, the club we went to the last time we were in Bangkok, I got into a short conversation with Nick, the assistant manager at ICB, and I said to him," Nick, you remember how crazy we partied 2 years ago here? It seems like we have all grown up now and the younger ones are taking over to have the fun we had back then." He agreed fervently. Another indication we are all getting older. Grr~~ But it was nice seeing the younger 'uns enjoying themselves. Could totally see myself in their shoes when I was as mad as them. Getting drunk every night was alright and I could dong till 7am but now, 2am and I'm a goner. I got high at Slim and went to Insomnia with some of the gals but by the time I hit the 2nd club, I had a splitting headache(they were blasting freaking techno-house!), and was spotting watery eyes coz of the cigarette smoke. Went outside the club which led to a Billy Bombers style restaurant and had an orange juice and tacos before one of my room mates came out and went back to the hotel with me. Even Fran commented,"Joey, ni bian le." Yea, I'm older and weaker now when it comes to partying. I reached the hotel at about 3am(BKK time) and woke up with a headache. I even threw up once coz of the terrible mix of antibiotics and jagermeister. Oh yes I forgot to mention. I was sick 3 out of the 5 days I was there.

On with my whines. I am getting increasingly irritated with girls who try and act cute or basically try too hard to please. I mean I just don't respect guys who are like that but even the girls nowadays are getting to me too. Because of this, I cannot stand the Check-In app on FB too. It doesn't make any sense. Why would anyone want to let the whole world know where they are at all times of the day? No one really cares. I mean I do use the app once in a long while(like when I checked into Amari Watergate and Changi Terminal 1 when I returned), but checking in when you are in the office and when you are home on a daily basis is plain crap to me. Why do you need to let everyone know where you live and where you work? -facepalm-

And back to girls acting cute, I'm not a guy so I don't know how it's like to appreciate(if I may use the word), girls acting cute. I mean I do act cute sometimes in front of my boyfriend but that's for a different reason. Wa lau act cute in front of me for what man??? Just feel like giving these girls a slap and telling them to wake up.
